West Virginia welcomes PointsBet Online Casino product

Australian online gambling company PointsBet has entered the US state of West Virginia, unveiling its swiftly growing casino offering to players.

PointsBet officially launched in the state in August last year with its digital mobile sportsbook and it has witnessed ever-growing numbers since, in addition to much interest in online casino.

The company’s proprietary casino product has been met with a positive reaction, especially since it was made available to US customers and this is poised to be a success in the latest state that it is going to be released in.

Sterling track record

After hitting the market in Michigan of last year, followed by New Jersey in July, the response from the US online gambling public has been overwhelming; indeed PointsBet as a brand are quickly winning over a vast majority of enthusiasts, even in some cases, eclipsing native operators such as FanDuel, DraftKings and Golden Nugget Online Gaming.

As is often the case in a new market of the online gambling industry, positioning your brand to capitalise on market share is often the trickiest part and there has been no shortage of hard work from the Australian firm to do so.

Making sure that the company had its branding right in order to appeal to the right audience, in addition to strategic marketing efforts, PointsBet has continued to go from strength to strength in a country that has only relaxed online gambling laws, in the majority of states only recently.

VP of online casino revenue at PointsBet, Aaron O’Sullivan, recently indicated that the market’s surge in online casino interest can help them to quickly gain a strong foothold in a state that is effectively there for the taking.

Meanwhile, the President of product and technology at PointsBet, Manjit Gombra Singh, reflected that the speed at which the company has scaled, in addition to its integration with the leading software provider, Scientific Games, can further help to enhance its reputation and maintain its competitive edge.

Access to West Virginia secured via local partnership

In order to be functional in the state PointsBet has struck a deal with its Hollywood Casino, based at Charles Town Races, with the firm making sure that players have access to an initial 15 of its best titles, which includes 88 Fortunes, Blackjack, and Monopoly Megaways™, backed up by its partnership with Scientific Games.

Over the next year, certainly, do not be surprised to see PointsBet secure deals in other US states for its online casino product, especially with a number of others predicted to pass online gambling bills in the near future.

With plans to become a leading online casino brand in what is being predicted to become the biggest market in the world, the progress that has been made so far is encouraging.
